Sound walk as part of the Jewish Culture Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki

Sound walk as part of the Jewish Culture Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki

On Sunday, August 20, at 2 pm, I will lead a sound walk as part of the Jewish Culture Festival in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

Meeting place: Monument to the Railwaymen at the Railway Station, 1 Maja 4 Street

Registration is required for the event: warsztaty@festiwalkulturyzydowskiej.pl. The number of places is limited

A few practical tips: if you want to take recording equipment with you (or even use your phone, because in many cases you can also make interesting recordings with it), you can do it, but there will be absolutely no need to record anything during the walk. We will listen to contemporary Grodzisk and, at the same time, we attempt to consider its soundscape in the interwar period, which was shaped also by the Jews of Grodzisk. We are definitely going to walk a bit, so, considering the weather, don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes and have something to drink with you.
